Aquatic feed
Extruded feed in aquaculture
Today, various methods are used to produce aquatic feed. Extrusion technology is currently the best way to produce aquatic feed for dense and ultra-dense systems. Extrusion is a process that is performed at high temperature and for a short time in which the raw materials are mixed in the condenser under cutting, pressure and temperature forces and finally removed from the extruded die. This feed is used in the aquaculture industry for different species of fish such as rainbow trout in four categories (beginning, growth, end, productive), common carp (beginning, growth, end, productive) and types of shrimp in three categories ( Initial, growth, end) is produced.
As a result of using extrusion feeds, it was found that due to the use of energy stored in lipids and carbohydrates and utilization of dietary protein amino acid reserves, the growth process of fish and shrimp is accelerated and nitrogen excretion by limiting oxidation Reduced amino acids, which have more benefits than pellet feed and increase production efficiency.
